Website tech

Tech, just the thought of it can be enough to freak any Yoga Teacher out.

I will admit, that I love tech. I love working out what it can do, I love hacking my life so that it is easier through the use of various tech. I have a google home and she is like my little PA in my kitchen. When I need to know how to cook something, when I want to know the weather or when I need a different time zone in real time to chat to a girlfriend abroad.

Tech doesn't have to be scary. We can learn it. Promise.

“Unless you learn something new, beyond what you have already mastered. You will never grow.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Our Yoga journey, when extended off the mat, shows us that anything worth pursuing - is challenging. I remember my very first head stand. I literally squealed in class. Upside down. I had worked so hard. I had pushed through so much fear. And was finally rewarded with a sense of freedom that only being upside down can bring.

When was the last time you tried hard at something challenging?

We tell ourselves stories. Such as:

I am not good at tech

I could never be creative enough to build my own website

I don't know where to start

I tried, but I just don't know how

And guess what? You are right. Whatever you tell yourself. Becomes your reality.

How about we tell ourselves:

I can do hard things

I love a good challenge

My learning capacity is endless

I love to put myself out of my comfort zone

“Nothing extraordinary comes from sitting in your comfort zone.”

Get Inspired
